Kaolin is a white super fine clay. It is particularly useful for oily and acne prone skin where it's drying and cleansing properties work well to help clear the skin.
Start out using once a week and see how your skin responds, then use twice a week if needed.
Benefits of a Kaolin White Clay Mask:
Reduces oily skin. A light clay that has natural absorbency properties and when applied on skin, mixed with a little warm water, it will soak up excess oils and stale sebum on the skin and within the pores.
Purifies pores & detoxes skin - since it has detoxifying effects, kaolin clay sucks out impurities such as grime, dirt, pollution and germs from the pores. This cleanses out the pores and prevents them from clogging up and causing breakouts.

Directions
- Take approximately 1 teaspoon of the clay powder and about 1 teaspoon of water in a bowl or cup.
- Mix the two ingredients until it forms a paste consistency. You can add a little more water or a little more powder, if the consistency doesn’t seem like it will easily spread on your face.
- Apply the clay mask to your face. You can also spread it down their neck and upper chest too.
- Leave the mask on for about 20 to 30 minutes. As the mask dries, your face will start to feel tight.
- Rinse off the mask using water or a steaming washcloth.
*If you use a spoon to mix the Bentonite and Green clays, make sure it isn’t metal because this causes metals to leach from the spoon into the clay, making the clay not as effective.
